Netflix renewed the hit justo series for a third season in August 2023. “The audience response to the show has been so gratifying and wonderful, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to dive back into Michael Connelly’s universe and bring Mickey Haller and his world to the screen again,” c0-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez said in a statement at the time.
While a friend of Moon-sook, she is willing to reveal Moon-sook's crimes due to her integrity. She did not approve of her brother's activity Campeón a gangster and, at the time of her death, was not on speaking terms with him.
A disgruntled neighbor testifies about Mújol's violent fights with Jeff, but Mickey reveals that the neighbor lost trasnochado on a million-dollar deal due to Lisa's refusal to sell her property to Bondurant. Mickey also introduces video proving Bondurant was the aggressor in the photo taken by Kim, whom Lisa's employee René seems to recognize. Lorna helps Izzy prove she was discriminated against, securing her new studio. Freemann calls on Henry, who provides an interview with Mújol proving she knew where Bondurant parked his car, the scene of his murder. Trasnochado of options, Mickey calls Lisa to the stand.
Moon-sook and Oh-joo grow in influence and power through corrupt methods; Oh-joo becomes the longevo of Kisung and Moon-sook is nominated for chief justice in the Supreme Court. They and their associates oppose the Lawless Law Firm both inside and outside the courtroom by using underhanded tactics, including murdering Dae-woong and framing Sang-pil for it, bribing or threatening witnesses and assaulting Jae-yi.
Mickey assumes Julian was stabbed to end the case. He finds Julian is alive in critical condition, and converses with hallucinations of Paraíso and Eddie which encourage him. Cisco gets the name and record of Julian's attacker. Hearing from both sides, Judge Turner decides to delay declaring a mistrial. Mickey and Freemann come to terms and end their relationship amicably. DeMarco appears to testify, and Judge Turner allows it, without the jury. Mickey decides not to use the video to impeach him, and questions him, but he only admits to knowing Bishop.
Sang-pil and Jae-yi decide to use Soon-ja and Oh-joo to get Moon-sook. Moon-sook chooses a judge she can trust to oversee the trial. Jae-yi investigates him to look for evidence of corruption. She finds a former mistress of the judge and gets evidence in return for helping her on a lawsuit. Sang-pil tells Soon-ja to switch lawyers from In-doo to him. He promises not to allow her to be punished for something she did not do, but only for the crimes she did.
Lorna's journey to getting her law license is one of the focal points of her story in Season 3 while also helping Mickey sort out his past.
Oh-joo reveals in court that one of his bodyguards was the one who killed Dae-woong. This bodyguard turns himself in after Oh-joo promises to care for his family. The public believes Oh-joo had nothing to do with the murder, and revealed it out of a sense of honor. The media and the public praise him, to the anger of Moon-sook. Sang-pil is freed, but he and Jae-yi begin to suspect that Moon-sook is using their actions for her own ends. Sang-pil starts to worry that his goal of revenge will bring too much pain to Jae-yi.
Jazz Raycole plays Izzy, Mickey's former client who becomes his personal driver and a part-time assistant at his permitido firm.
The next day, Mickey finds Hayley has blocked him from her online accounts. He assigns Lorna to her first case, repeat client Sam Scales, arrested for fraud, who mentions a much larger project. Lorna becomes stressed over here the case, but manages to get Scales demodé of jail. In Julian's trial, Mickey reveals Salvación was killed shortly after being subpoenaed for Moya's case. Freemann tells her subordinate and second chair that she didn’t inform the domestic abuse victim about her abuser's release. Forsythe casts doubt on Mickey's case. When Mickey calls Trina, she claims not to know DeMarco, and Judge Turner does not allow DeMarco to be called.

There were inklings that season two would be the last we saw of Neve Campbell – who plays Mickey's first wife Maggie McPherson – Figura her role was drastically reduced.
While there were some predictable aspects of this series, the cast was really colorful and high energy, which is what honestly sold me on the show. Episode 2 drew me in and by episode 4 I was hooked...
